Excerpts of the Program
This year, the Police Show will be opened by a world between dream and reality.
The BERLINER ELEFANTEN (Berlin Elephants), the show gymnastics group of the DEUTSCHER TURNERBUND (German Gymnastics Association) will demonstrate a floating geometry. Let them abduct you into a magic kaleidoscope.
FLEXIBLE, our own group of serving police officers brings the movie - classic PIRATES OF THE CARRIBEAN to the stage. At the wall bars, the pirate crew will demonstrate what is possible in the rigging of a sail ship.
The TSV MELS will exclusively show us their free exercise Jacko from the Swiss Championship. Fascinating jumps, lifts and somersaults will raise everyone's heartbeat.
From overseas we welcome our colleagues of the ROYAL CANADIAN MOUNTED POLICE. Wearing their world-famous red uniform, they will show us their marching formation to the big band sound of the MUSIQUE DU ROYAL 22e RÉGIMENT.
Of course there is no Police Show without the classic team with their 40 years of Showtime experience. The FLYING GRANDPAS just returned from their guest appearance in France. The top athletic performance combined with a comic touch will challenge your risible muscle.
Also from Canada, from Acadia joins us the dance group LA BAIE ON JOIE .
We are very proud to present them on their debut in Europe. Their extra-special fashioned tap-dance contribution will please the audience.
The sledge dog team KANADA HUSKIES are our guest in the Alsterdorfer Sporthalle where they meet the four-legged team of the Hamburg Police. Everyone is looking forward to this exciting game. Marek Erhard will comment the events from the sideline.
FRESH IN ATTACK, the masters of break dance, are back in our show from Dresden and Berlin. Their inspiring professionalism is proven by new and always unusual choreographies. Their moves will sweep the house like fire works.
From Switzerland are the D`HOLMIKERS, whose gymnastics show is just as spectacular as the Swiss Alps. Their grandiose Elvis-Show at the uneven bars and the musical titbits will rock the house.
The gymnasium will tremble with the roaring sound of the BMW motorcycles and all of us will feel exciting new choreography of the MOTORCYCLE SQUAD of the Hamburg
Police. You will hold your breath for the daring manoeuvres of the individual drivers as well as for the extreme concentration paired with the courage of the formation driving.
The POLICE ORCHESTRA HAMBURG will provide the musical background before and during the show.
GERD SPIEKERMANN (radio station NDR 90.3) and the Speaker of the Hamburg Police, RALF MEYER, will present the program.
